Among the most beautiful Christmas decorations, there is also the nice wooden toy soldier, the Nutcracker.
The unmistakable military uniform in bright colors completes a face with a large mustache.

Different legends and fairy tales characterized the story of the most famous wooden toy soldier in the world.

The most popular legend takes us back in time, even to the sixteenth century, and concerns a great wooden soldier, having only the function of cracking nuts, built by the population of a German region as a sign of protest against the continuous oppressions suffered.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1667936689124{margin-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”86815″ img_size=”500×500″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1667983363963{margin-bottom: 25px !important;}” el_class=”giustifica”]Its story, however, does not stop.
The Nutcracker becomes in fact the absolute protagonist of the fairy tale “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” written by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann in 1816.
The tale, later reworked by Dumas, describes the adventure of a nutcracker with the appearance of a wooden toy soldier given to a little girl on Christmas Eve; in the dimension of a dream made of magic and adventures, the nutcracker will prove to be a symbol of courage and protection.
The Nutcracker is also the protagonist of Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet. And what about the more recent film adaptation?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1667983419415{margin-bottom: 25px !important;}” el_class=”giustifica”]A SYMBOL OF THE CHRISTMAS TRADITION

The story with the Nutcracker as the protagonist reveals the reasons why this character represents an emblem par excellence of Christmas.

The Nutcracker and the adventure of which it is the protagonist symbolize those true and authentic values that characterize the evocative atmosphere of the Christmas period; they are in fact capable of calling to mind themes such as love, kindness, courage, the ability to preserve the special and precious child in you, even in adulthood.

The story of Nutcracker is able to infuse those feelings that, at Christmas, are even more alive. In fact, in folklore, it is also considered a good luck charm.

It is a very special character, isn’t it? So, are you also looking forward to the magic of Christmas?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][sober_product_carousel per_page=”16″ columns=”4″ type=”best_sellers” category=”nutcracker, vintage-nutcrackers” autoplay=”5000″ loop=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
